Hellfrost: Old Gods

The Adventure Begins!
Melodies from the past #1

Gather round, gather round, my good townsfolk. Be ready for an exciting yarn of bravery and heroism! The tale I’m about to unveil before your minds’ eyes really happened, long ago in the freezing continent of Rassilon, in the harsh Borderlands. All I’m asking in return is your undivided attention and maybe a humble piece of bread and a mug of ale for my sore throat. It all started when the savage Beastmen tried to reawaken their pagan gods, and a few members of the Reliquary hired three heroes to find out how to stop it…

They were warriors three, all without a vice/
a knight and a skald and a wizard of ice/
They started their journey with tender feet/
but soon everyone shared their feat

On the road from Hjorn to Watch of the Giant/
their employer was mighty reliant/
of the heroes/
Beastmen attacked our valiant party/
but were no match for the fighters hearty/
they were heroes/

They were warriors three, all without a vice/
a knight and a skald and a wizard of ice/
They started their journey with tender feet/
but soon everyone shared their feat

From the Watch they travelled to a barrow/
with an entrance to a dungeon narrow/
For the heroes/
Inside they fought with an undead skald/
They were in the light of the torches, corralled/
was it a banshee?/
After a courageous fight they found their treasure/
A good deed done and some earned leisure!
…and a strange key/
They need to find another, to save the world/
So Rassilon won’t be destroyed and whirled/
Because they are the heroes.

They were warriors three, all without a vice/
a knight and a skald and a wizard of ice/
They started their journey with tender feet/
but soon everyone shared their feat

Now, you might want to know what happened with the keys and the rising of the gods of the Beastmen? Well, that’s an another story and I find myself mighty thirsty…
